What this website doesn’t do

There’s no cookie banner because we don’t set any cookies that need your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). We don’t use audience measurement, retargeting or external fonts.

Strictly necessary data

The server may keep a short-lived session so it can deliver the page. That data ends when you close your browser and isn’t used to build a profile of you.

Our server also keeps log files with IP address, time of access, page requested, referrer and browser and system details. IP addresses are anonymised after 24 hours and logs deleted after 7 days at the latest. The lawful basis is Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR. Details are in our privacy policy.

External sellers

Once you follow an affiliate link, the seller’s own cookie and privacy rules apply. We have no control over them.

Your browser settings

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. As this site doesn’t need cookies to be read, the article works even with strict browser settings.
